If you’re using BuddyPress with Divi, you may find that the mobile menu sometimes stops working on BuddyPress pages. The hamburger icon still appears, but tapping it does nothing, or the mobile menu markup never gets created at all.
In most cases, this happens because BuddyPress theme compatibility changes the timing of the page output just enough that Divi’s normal mobile menu initialization misses those pages. The desktop menu is there, but the mobile version that Divi usually builds from it doesn’t get set up properly.
The fix is simply to detect those affected pages and rebuild the missing mobile menu when needed, rather than changing how Divi menus work everywhere else.
I’ve put together a small plugin for exactly this. It restores the Divi mobile menu on BuddyPress theme compatibility pages and is available as a free download in the sidebar.
If you’re seeing a dead hamburger menu on BuddyPress screens, that plugin should sort it.
