  1. If it only included the footer text capability it would be worth it.

So much more straightforward than a child theme.

    Love it.

    Very happy customer.

  2. I purchased the plug and attempted to use Custom Field feature. Aside from choosing the option, what else is supposed to happen?

    Reply
    • Hi Des, thanks for purchasing the plugin! The Custom Field feature is not related to Divi Booster at all. Rather, it's a build in WordPress thing. It lets you add extra information to posts which certain themes or plugins can make use of. You can learn more about WordPress's custom fields here:

      http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields

If you're having trouble locating the Divi Booster settings, they are all located in your WordPress admin area under "Appearance > Divi Booster".

  3. Hello Dan, and kudos on a great piece of work.
I'm too new to Divi to suggest improvement on the Booster on that side, but…
there is *one* thing that would improve Booster at almost no cost for you:
make checkbox+labels clickable, not just the teeny-weeny checkboxes.

This could cut the time to use Booster to about a fourth.

Thanks, and kep up the good work!

  4. Hey Dan… what are the chances of bringing the Page Builder's power and ease-of-use to the pages displayed by a Tabs Module? That would so nice. Thx!

  5. Hi Dan,

i purchased your divi booster on release and haven't yet found the time to install it. eleganttheme released divi 2.3 today, is it safe to use the current booster or should i wait a couple of days for an updated version?

    Thanks

    • Hey Christian, yes it's safe to use with Divi 2.3 :) I'm currently doing testing to make sure all the features still work. Let me know if you notice anything. But the pretty much everything look to be working as before,

  6. Hello Dan. I bought your plugin. its cool.
I'm using an image above the header. but when i shrink the site it dissapears leaving only the menu. Can't i just keep the image but resized? also it's possible to have a link in that page? like a home link..?

    Reply
    • Thanks Rogerio! Yeah, at the moment I only show the image on large displays. It should definitely be possible to get it showing on mobiles too – I just have to put a bit of time into writing and testing the code. I'll add it into the plugin when I have. I'll also look into adding the link option.

  7. Hi dan, great plugin matey. It would be useful to be able to change the colour of the transparent box overly on sliders – I love the way you have minified the css output as well. Astounding plugin.

    • Thanks Andrew! This would be a good feature and should be a relatively easy to add, so hopefully I can get it in to the plugin soon! P.S. So sorry I missed you on the beta testing! You'll be at the top of the list for beta testing "Extra Booster" :)

    • Sure thing, Luc! I'm on bug fixing duty until the end of the month, but after that I'll be adding new features and this one is right up the top of the list :)

  9. Brought the plugin Dan and activated custom posts function. I'm want to use posts in pages using this:
    query_args
    cat=

    Should it work?

    Reply
    • You mean you want posts built with pagebuilder to show on the category page? Yeah, that'll work. Just be aware that if you have sidebar on the category page you need to leave a blank 1/4 width column on the posts or there will an overlap.

  10. Hey Dan.

Great plugin. Purchased it the other day and am delighted with it! I was wondering if you could help me with something though…

The Divi Booster allows me to use the Divi Pagebuilder on custom posts. This, to me, is a godsend, given that all my units/custom posts in WP Courseware look like standard blog entries (totally out of sync with the design of the rest of my site). Unfortunately, I have nearly 600(!!) custom posts to amend. I was wondering if there is a simple way to make all of the custom posts conform to a new layout I create, or whether I will have to load the new layout in each one individually?

    Again, love your product!

    Reply
    • Hey Matt, I'm not aware of an easy way to do this, and I suspect there probably isn't one. In theory is should be possible to force pagebuilder to start on a default layout. The tricky part would probably be getting your content from an existing post to show up in the right part of the layout, but something will be possible. I'll try to add this sort of capability into Divi Booster in a future update, but given the complexity I can't guarantee I'll be able to do it in a timeframe that'll be useful to you… I will try though!

  11. Hi Dan
Thanks so much for creating this plugin, it's definitely needed (and I don't know why Elegant Themes hasn't already addressed some of the issues themselves).

I tried to use the coupon code from the newsletter signup but it doesn't work and keeps coming up with "null" error.

    Reply
    • Hey Angelique, a couple of people have been having the same "null" error when trying to use the discount code. I'm still looking into the cause, but the way to fix it seems to be to clear your cookies and then start the purchase again.

  12. Hello Dan,

I just have purchased your Plug In, and very happy! you have a lot of options Divi lacks.

I am wondering if you are planning or have any footer solution to customize the footer in 4 columns.

I know that you have an option of pasting html for the footer, but I am not sure so far how to use it, neither very skillful coder, so I was wondering if you have a piece of code to accomplish a nice columnar footer using you Divi Booster plug in.

So far I am doing it by adding two extra sections above the Divi footer, but that is a real hassle as if I have to build a link later or make changes I would have to go one by one. Besides the sections from Divi are not exportable or re-usable in different pages.

    I would appreciate your help,

    Regards,
    Alberto

    Reply
    • Hi Alberto, I'll definitely try and add this to a future version of the plugin. Currently the option to paste html allows you to replace the "designed by elegant themes…" links. You can put plain text in there, e.g. "Copyright 2015", or simple HTML links. You can do fancier stuff if you like, but it probably won't be necessary for this area.
