Hide Default LearnDash Components when using Divi

Written by Dan Mossop

Divi LearnDash Kit lets you design LearnDash courses from within the Divi Builder. When doing that, you may wish to hide some of the default content that Divi and LearnDash add outside the Divi Builder layout area. Specifically, this includes the default course content, course status and course title. Here's how to hide these default elements:

Hide Default LearnDash Components using Divi LearnDash Kit

1) Go to the back-end edit screen for the course page, e.g.

2) Then in the edit screen, you should see some settings added by Divi LearnDash Kit in the side bar under "Course > Divi Page Settings", as shown:

* Course Content – Shows / hides the default course content. You probably want to set this to "hide" this if you're using the Divi LearnDash Kit Course Content module.
* Course Status – Shows / hides the default course progress / status bar. You probably want to set this to "hide" if you're using the Divi LearnDash Kit Course Progress module.
* Post Title – Shows / hides the standard course title. You probably want to set this to "hide" if you're using the built-in Divi Post Title module.

Simply set the ones to you want to remove to "hide" and update the course page.

Hide Default LearnDash Components using CSS

If you don't have Divi LearnDash Kit, or are using the Divi Builder plugin on a non-Divi theme, you should be able to achieve the same effect by applying the CSS rules directly. Here are (slightly modified versions of) the CSS rules added by Divi LearnDash Kit:

/* Hide default Divi post titles */
.learndash-cpt .et_post_meta_wrapper:first-of-type {
	display: none;
}

/* Hide default LearnDash course content */
.learndash-cpt .entry-content > .learndash > .learndash_content > #learndash_course_content,
.learndash-cpt .entry-content > .learndash > #learndash_course_content,
.learndash-cpt .learndash_post_sfwd-courses > .learndash-wrapper > .ld-lesson-list,
.learndash-cpt .learndash_post_sfwd-courses > .learndash-wrapper > .learndash-wrapper .ld-lesson-list  {
	display:none
}

/* Hide default LearnDash course status */
.learndash-cpt .entry-content > .learndash > #learndash_course_status,
.learndash-cpt .learndash_post_sfwd-courses > .learndash-wrapper > .ld-course-status,
.learndash-cpt .learndash_post_sfwd-courses > .learndash-wrapper > .learndash-wrapper .ld-course-status {
	display:none;
}
