  1. Divi Switch Update – I purchased the Divi Ultimate Bundle a year ago today. Yesterday I tried to get the updated versions and could not. The Divi-Switch plugin does not show that it needs to be update from the WP backned, but when I mentioned in the Switch forum at DiviSpace, I was told I need to update to the newest version. There is a new version which works with PHP 7.0 and Cory Jenkins sent me a link to login at DiviSpace as a customer, which I did. However I can only download updates for Divi Dashboard and Divi Booster, but all I see is a link for Divi Booster and Divi Dashboard. No Divi Switch, No Divi Ghost, No Divi Aspen Footer.

    Help :)

    Reply
    • Hi Mike, you may already have seen the email I just sent round about the bundle. Basically, the bundle used to give a reasonably up-to-date version of each plugin, which could then be brought fully up-to-date using the automatic updates enabled on each plugin. However, Aspen Grove / Divi Space recently made a change to requiring license keys for updates, which has stopped the automatic updates on older versions of the plugins from working. To counter this, we're in the process of setting everyone who has purchased the Ultimate Divi Bundle up with an account on Divi Space where they will be able to access the latest version (and the license key required to enable updates).

In the meantime, you can obtain the latest version of Divi Switch by contacting Divi Space's support (unfortunately I don't have the ability to give you access to the latest version myself). As you've already spoken to them, I suspect they're just not aware that the other plugins aren't showing up in your account. If you haven't already, I'd send them another message asking them to add the links to Switch, Ghoster and Footer Editor.

If they aren't able to get this set up for any reason, let me know and I'll follow up with them. Thanks!

  2. Hello Dan,

I purchased Divi Builder back in 2015 when you still used the license keys to update the plugin. Is there any way you can send me the most up to date plugin? Let me know if you need any more information aside from my name and email address (which I assume is tied to the original purchase).

    Thanks

    • Hey Brant,

I've just resent your purchase confirmation email, so you should hopefully receive it shortly – it contains the download link and license key.

You can also access your purchase history if you register for an account at https://divibooster.com/your-account/ using your email address.

      Hope that helps!

  3. Hello Dan,
    Thanks for this great plugin.
    A question about adding CSS.
How CSS is injected into pages?
Is a CSS file dynamically generated?
Is the code entered in DIVI BOOSTER automatically minified or optimized?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

    Reply
    • Hey Chris. When you save the Divi Booster settings, Divi Booster generates a CSS file with the CSS for the options. As it is generated upon save, the overhead of having to access the database / dynamically generate the CSS file on each page load is avoided. This file is automatically minified and is included into the site using WordPress's enqueuing mechanism. There are options to disable the minification and to load the CSS inline in the page should you have cause to do so.

There are some exceptions to the above. A few settings, such as those which can be controlled on a per-module basis add small amounts of CSS inline on the page, as it doesn't make really make sense to add the CSS site-wide to control individual instances of modules on single pages / posts.

All of the above pretty much applies to JavaScript too.

I hope that answers things for you, but let me know if there is anything you want to know. Cheers!

  4. Hello,

We purchased the divi booster plugin and installed it to our site http://members.bosshubinc.com to have a divi builder showing in the dashboard and integrate with LearnDash, I can see it is added at the backend see screenshot here http://nimb.ws/V412fH but unfortunately this is what shows in the front end http://nimb.ws/O3c29p.

Can you help us what to do to move the title to the top and description next to the thumb image? I appreciate your help.

    • Hi Frezier, thanks for getting in touch. By default Divi Booster will add the Divi Builder content wherever the custom post type (LearnDash courses in this case) would have placed the regular text from the editor box. It's possible to override this on a case-by-case basis. Here is a post explaining how to make the Divi Builder layout take up the full-width of the Learndash course page:

      https://divibooster.com/make-divi-builder-full-width-on-learndash-course-pages/

Note that this hides the other elements of the page (except for the header and footer). If you want these elements, it will be easiest to re-create them within the Divi Builder (e.g. using a post title or image module to add the featured image).

  5. Hi there is it possible to translate the plugin?

  6. Hello – I'm having a problem with the plugin I think – I've updated my instagram URL and it's not 'taking' on http://www.pattybrower.com – s/b snugbug_patty, not patty_brower! Help!!

    Reply
    • Hi Patty, it looks to me like the standard Divi social icons have been disabled and replaced with icons added via a menu. If you go to "Appearance > Menus" in your WordPress admin area you should be able to find the relevant menu and update the instagram URL there.

I can see that Divi Booster is configured correctly to display the social icons (with the new URL), but they won't show unless the social icons are enabled in Divi, at "Divi > Theme Customizer > Header & Navigation > Header Elements > Show Social Icons". If you do enable them here, you will probably want to remove the icons from your menu otherwise you'll have duplicates.

    • Hi Patty,
Can you give me the access to admin panel of your site? I can fix it the right way for you.

      kind regards
      Zeeshan

      Reply
      • Thanks for making the offer, Zeeshan. It would be remiss of me not to point out here that you're not associated with Divi Booster in any way, and that care should always be taken when sharing access to the site admin panel as it can give essentially full control over the site. That said, I've approved your comment so that Patty can make up her own mind if she wants to take up the offer or not. Cheers!

  7. Hi Dan.
Since the last Divi update (3.0.75) I don't get extra social icons in top menu or footer on this site https://brandnewbalance.se/
Tried re-installing DiviBooster and disabling other plugins.
    No cache is used.
This client is active on Linkedin and Instagram and needs his links there.

  8. Hi.
I bought the plugin because i've read that allow put social icons in the Main Menu. I've tried but only allow social icons in a secondary menu, then i've solved the problem with a tutorial of eleganthemes. I want a refund, it is possible?

    Reply
    • Hi Javier, currently Divi Booster is only able to add social icons to the secondary menu, not the main menu. I'm glad you were able to achieve the effect you needed using the Elegant Themes tutorial, and I have issued you a full refund. Let me know if you have any questions about it, etc.

  9. When using Divi booster on a Divi theme page the drop down menus from the primary menu are blank after scroll down. Do you know how to fix them?

    Reply
    • Hi Steven, I don't think this related to Divi Booster at all. Instead, it's caused by some non-obvious behavior of Divi's own options. In particular, the "Divi > Theme Customizer > Header & Navigation > Fixed Navigation Settings > Primary Menu Link Color" option, despite its name actually also controls the submenu link color (when the fixed header is used). You seem to have this set to the same color as your submenu background color, causing the submenu links to be essentially invisible. This post explains in a bit more detail / offers a solution:

  10. Hello

When I open my wordpress page Divi Booster has disappeared from the menu on the left and does not appear in the list of plugins. The same goes for Divi Ghoster and Divi Dashboard-welcome.
It does not let me reinstall it because it says that I already have it installed (in the list of Cpanel plugins if they appear as installed).
The parameters I put in Divi Booster are maintained, but I can not change them because I do not know where to do it.

    Any suggestions for solving this?
    Thank you!!

    Reply
    • Hi Daniel, it sounds like you have the "Ultimate Ghoster" option enabled in Divi Ghoster, which causes that plugin to hide itself and other Divi plugins such as Divi Booster. To fix this you'd need to go to the Divi Ghoster settings page and disable the "Ultimate Ghoster" setting:

      https://aspengrovestudios.com/documentation/divi-ghoster/#enable_ultimate

Hopefully that helps, but let me know if not. Thanks!

  11. Is there an easy way to get the Instagram Social Media Icon Updated in the header (secondary menu)? When I select the built in Divi Booster selection, the icon for Instagram is either old/outdated or incorrect?

    Reply
    • Hi Rich, there is. Go to "Divi > Theme Customizer > Divi Booster > Social Media Icons", click "+ Add New Network" and then click on the box that appears. You'll then be able to select "Instagram" as the icon and input your Instagram page URL to add an Instagram icon. The Instagram icon added via the customizer is the updated icon, unlike the icons added via the Divi Booster settings page which use Divi's built-in icons (Divi has not yet been updated with the new Instagram icon). I hope that makes sense / helps, but let me know if not. Thanks!

      • Hi Dan

Thanks for quick reply. In fact I tried today and now it works so it was probably due to CSS cache issue.

SO issue is fixed, sorry for this

        • Okay, great! I'm glad you got it working, and thanks for letting me know, Yves.
