Add Comments to the Sixteen Nine Homepage

Written by Dan Mossop

If you want to display the comments after each of the posts on the Sixteen Nine WordPress theme homepage, you can do so by first adding the following at the end of the theme's functions.php file:

function add_comments_to_homepage() {
	if (is_home()) { global $withcomments; $withcomments=1; comments_template('', true); }
}
add_action('genesis_after_entry', 'add_comments_to_homepage');

And then adding the following custom CSS to the theme:

body.blog .entry-comments h3 { display:none !important; }
body.blog .comment-respond { margin-bottom: 30px; border-bottom: 3px solid #F5F5F5; padding-bottom:30px;}
body.blog article.post { margin-bottom:0; border-bottom: 0; }
