Divi Booster is a great product and we’ve never really needed support for it but, on the one occasion we needed advice, Dan was super helpful.
This plugin does exactly what I needed it to do. I do not have any developer skills, but support was excellent and resolved all of the questions I had quickly.
Divi Booster is fantastic. I used this plugin to improve the header area and footer area on a client's website. My client is very pleased.
Hey Dan,
I am a happy user of Your plugin.
Recently found out on some blog, that your plugin used to have "add social icons to top header" feature.
Where is it? Or the info is incorrect?
Hi Mr K. The feature is still there. It's under "General > Add more social media icons". The reason that it's not in the top header section is that Divi gives you the option of showing the same social media icons in the header, the footer, or both. Thanks!
Hi!
I just purchased the Divi Booster and, so far, it's working great! I was able to add extra social media icons to the footer, however, I need the links to open in a new window. Is there an easy way I can make this happen?
Thanks so much!
Hey Kimberley, I have an update coming out in the next day or so which adds an option for this :)
i just want to say thank you Dan, your tools made a whole new Theme with wonderful Features,
also Dan has been kindly applied all of my suggestions and he also helped me to fix other plugin's problems!
I really Appreciate all your work Dan, you are great person
Thanks Farshid, it was a pleasure helping you out :)
Hi Dan,
Divi Booster suddenly stopped working for me. Doesn't matter what I do. Nothing I click on changes anything.
Please help! I am a newbie!
Thanks, Michelle
Hey Michelle, it sounds like something is causing a JavaScript error on the page, which is stopping Divi Booster's own JavaScript from working. If you installed another plugin just before the error started happening, try disabling it and see if it fixes the issue in Divi Booster. If not, can you go to the Divi Booster page in Google Chrome, then press "F12" and click the "Console" tab of the box that appears. If there are any errors (in red), please let me know what they say. Thanks.
Dan,
I love the feature for Divi Booster of being able to add an image above the main header. It was just what I was looking for.
Unfortunately I want it on every page except the home page (I am using a slider on that one page).
Is there a way to have the image be there for every page except a particular one?
Thanks,
–Bruce II
You should be able hide the image on the home page with this CSS:
.home #wtfdivi004-page-start-img { display:none; }
One day I'll get round to adding more control over this sort of thing within Divi Booster itself :)
Hi Dan,
I tried adding this to the style.css of the child theme and it didn't seem to work.
I tried removing the .home to see if it would hide it on all pages and that didn't seem to work either.
Am I missing something?
Thanks,
-Bruce II
Hey Bruce,
I notice in your style.css you have comments "/*" and "*/" around the code, e.g.:
I'm not sure if you added these after-the-fact, but when I remove them it works, just leaving:
If that doesn't work, it's most likely to be a caching issue – clearing your browser's cache should help in that case.
Hi,
Thanks for the quick response. I definitely added the comments afterward when I could not get it to work.
I removed the comments and left it uncommented but it still does not seem to work. I also cleared all cached data from Chrome.
Am I missing something else?
Sorry for being slow.
–Bruce II
Hey Bruce, can you try this:
I think the JavaScript library used to show the image is over-riding the CSS setting, so hopefully the above will stop it… Otherwise, I'll need to come up with a different way of doing it.
That worked perfectly. Thank you so much.
Dan,
The new social icon addition to Divi Booster is perfect … bar one thing.
The icons fire up the link in the same window … taking one away from the website.
Best practice is to fire links in a new window that are not internal links … which is an html edit "_blank" as you well know.
This, again, requires editing of the social_icons.php file.
Could I request that there is an option in the general section … just a single tickbox … that states "Load Social Icons in a new window".
That would be great … and fits nicely with the divi booster intention of fixing the more "complex" edits that require php editing.
Delighted with progress Dan … you are a star
Thanks Mark
Yeah, having that option would make sense. I'll try to add that to the plugin as soon as I can (unfortunately I've run out of time this morning…). Thanks Mark!
Dan
FYI to make the integration easier:

Hope it helps
Thanks Mark
Hi Dan,
Great plugin by the way.
Just wanted to ask about an issue that I seem to being with header jittering on scroll when I use the Divi Booster plugin?
When I deactivate the plugin the Divi install is ok but the jitter comes when re-activating Divi Booster, didn't seem to see this on earlier versions of the plugin only the later ones from a week or so ago.
Tested on a couple of different Divi sites I'm building for my client and it go happening on all.
Cheers
Martin
Hi Dan,
Further to my question above it looks like the issue is being caused by the "Don't shrink header on scroll" feature?
If I turn this off and set the logo height to 100px on both normal and shrunk and then set the header height to 105px on both normal and shrunk the jitter when scrolling stops?
Looks like a javascript issue?
Cheers
Martin
Hey Martin. Thanks for the detailed info. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to reproduce this on my test sites – I've set them up as described, but don't see any jitter… To help me track it down, is there any chance you can provide me with a link to one of the sites it is happening on? Also, do you see it on different browsers or just a particular one? Thanks! Dan
The booster works great. I'm having a problem with the footer module. It was working but the elegent themes and wordpress text came back. Now I can't get it booster info to go back.
Hey Brad, you might have some JavaScript errors on your page which would stop Divi Booster from doing its thing… are you able to share a link so that I can take a look?
When checking my website on https://www.whynopadlock.com/ I get SSL errors on the following files:
/wp-content/uploads/wtfdivi/wp_head.css?1426870994
/wp-content/uploads/wtfdivi/wp_footer.js?1426870994
Can you tell me where to fix this? And please update them to be compatible with SSL sites in future Divi Booster update. Firefox makes my page really ugly (not loading the http files) if the customer enters the page with httpS.
Hi Vegard, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've just released an update to the plugin which should fix the issue.
Great plugin! Love it! It would be great to have an option to change the vertical spacing of the nav. When the logo/header is increased in height, the nav remains where it initially was and does not vertically center.
Thanks Aaron! Actually, there is already an option for this :) In the Divi Booster settings go to "Header" > "Main Header" and you'll find an option called "Vertically center the header links". This option should do what you want. Let me know if you have any trouble with it.
Hi,
You were a great help with removing the highlights section on the dropdown menu. One other question you may know the answer to.
I need to add a table…regular table for effect into the page. Fine not a problem. But the top border is not the same color…as the rest of the table. It is much lighter. Do you happen to know a way to fix this issue?
Thanks again.
Lynn
Never mind. I got it.
Thanks,
Lynn
Any way to stop the blurb icons from animating? Just have them on screen all the time without having to scroll?
I'll buy Divi Booster if it has this feature. I was able to add CSS to stop the animation, but they do not show up by default until you scroll down…. Then they just appear abruptly up on the page. I'd like them to show all the time without having to scroll and without any animation…
I can't figure out a way to do this.
Hey Ray, I think Divi itself can do what you want. Go to your blurb module's settings then go to the "Image/Icon Animation" setting and change it to "No Animation". Let me know if that doesn't do what you need.
You are correct… Why did I not see that before?? Thank you so much.
