Add QR Codes Directly in the Divi Builder
The Divi QR Code Module adds a dedicated QR Code module to the Divi Builder, so you can create and customize QR codes directly on your Divi website. Use it to link visitors to web pages, special offers, app downloads, contact details, menus, resources and more – without relying on a separate QR code generator.
Setup is simple: add the module to your layout, enter the URL or content you want the QR code to point to, and customize the design to match your site. You can also use Divi’s dynamic content feature to create QR codes inside Theme Builder templates.
Customize QR Codes to Match Your Brand
Adjust the foreground and background colors of your QR code so it fits naturally into your Divi design. You can also add a center image, such as a logo, product icon or profile photo, to make the QR code feel more branded and trustworthy.
This is useful for landing pages, product pages, event pages, restaurant menus, downloadable resources, printed materials and promotional campaigns.
Download QR Codes for Print and Signage
The Divi QR Code Module supports flexible output formats, including:
- Inline HTML – embeds the QR code directly into your page, making it ideal for normal website use and advanced customization.
- SVG – generates the QR code as a scalable image, ideal for downloading, sharing, printing or using on signs, flyers, menus and other offline materials.
Create Dynamic QR Codes in Divi Templates
Use Divi’s dynamic content feature to generate QR codes in Theme Builder templates. This is useful when you want QR codes to change automatically based on the page, post, product or custom field being displayed.
For example, you could create QR codes for individual product pages, event pages, resources, contact pages or location-specific landing pages.

Could this be used to create an image that could be downloaded and used for printed flyers or something else?
Hey Patrick, yes, if you set the module's "QR Code Format" setting to SVG then the QR code displayed on the page will be an image (in SVG format).
Since it's an image, you can simply right click and save as (or your browser's equivalent) to download the image to your computer. As an SVG, it should scale well to any size you need.
I purchased the Unlimited sites version. Works perfectly. Thanks.
Thanks Patrick, I'm really pleased to hear it's working for you!
Dan… does the module allow the way to add a centre logo or icon image.
Hey Robert, thanks for asking. I've just added an option for this, in v2.1.
Details are here:

I hope that helps, but give me a shout if you have any questions about it. Thanks!
Is there a limit to the number of QR codes you can create? If you change a QR code URL, does the QR code change? I ask as our QR codes are printed, but the url may change sometimes.
Hey Denny,
There's no limit – it's just a Divi module, so whenever you need a new QR code you can just insert a new module.
If you change the QR code URL in the module then yes, the QR code will change (as the QR code directly encodes the URL). If you need a stable printed URL code, but want to be able to change where it points to sometimes then I'd suggest setting up a redirect on the server so that visitors to the URL in the printed QR code get redirected to your required URL. This is easy to set up in WP with a plugin such as Redirection or you can add a redirection rule in your .htaccess file.
As an example, say you wanted to print a 'donate now' QR code, but want the flexibility to change the donation payment system. You could create a QR code module and set the URL to https://example.com/donate. This will give you a QR code you can print that will always point to that URL. But then you could add a redirection in the redirection plugin (or otherwise) that redirects from https://example.com/donate to the current payment system (https://example-payment-system.com/some-charity, say). So scanning the QR code would redirect to that payment system. If you need to change the payment system you could then just update the redirection entry rather than needing to reprint the QR code.
I hope that helps / makes sense!
Is it posible to Add a dynamic url form a custom filed (CPT)? I don’t see the DB icon at the end of the “QR Code URL or data” field of the module to Connect a custom field.
Hey Alex, yes, the "QR Code URL or data" field supports dynamic content so you can load the QR code data from a custom field / advanced custom field (ACF). It's not shown in the screenshots, but if you hover over the field the dynamic content icon will be revealed. Clicking this will bring up the dynamic content menu with your custom fields listed. I've just added clarification of this to the FAQs section, since it wasn't clear. I hope that helps!
What are all the formats that the plugin supports besides web url and vcard?
Hey stephen, there are no restrictions on the format – you can put any data in there. It just needs to be in a format supported by your QR reader. Is there something in particular you want to use it for?
Hi, can i create a V-Card with contact-informations?
Hi Brigitte, thanks for asking. I've just put up a post describing how to do it:
Create a QR vCard with Divi QR Code Module
Note that I've just released v1.2 with some changes that make it easier to add vCards – an increased character limit (780 characters) and a multi-line input box for the QR Code data.
I hope that helps!
Hi, the URL May be the current's page URL also?
Hi Robert! Absolutely – if you leave the "QR Code URL or Data" field empty when using the Divi QR Code Module, the default will be to create a QR code that links to the current page. This feature is handy for connecting printed articles back to your original web page or providing a quick way for mobile users to open and bookmark your page. I hope that answers your question, but let me know if there's anything further you'd like to know. Thanks!
