Divi Booster

The easy way to make your Divi site better
Are you looking for an easy way to give your Elegant Themes' Divi Theme a boost? Maybe you've seen the many Divi customization tips I share online, but don’t have the coding skills needed to implement them, or just plain don't have time to?

Divi Booster Features

Divi Booster is a WordPress plugin which makes customizing Divi a breeze.

  • Divi Booster adds 100s of new configuration options to Divi – Want to change the height of your slider? Or stop the header from shrinking? Or change the look of just one page? It's all in there. I'm constantly adding new options and with free updates for life you'll get them as soon as they're ready. I even take requests – just let me know what you'd like to see added in the comments.
  • Divi Booster is incredibly easy to use – The majority of the tips can be turned on and off just by ticking a box. And as it's a plugin, you don't need to know about implementing child themes. But it's also fully compatible with child themes if you are using one.
  • Divi Booster is fast – Plugins get a bad rap for slowing your site down. But that's only true if the plugin is poorly written. Divi Booster pre-compiles and minifies the CSS and JavaScript code it generates when you save the configuration, not when your user visits your site. This means that it loads as fast, or faster, than the equivalent code placed in a child theme.

Here is a complete list of Divi Booster's features:

  1. Dan, Are you going to become part of the DiVi Market place? Will doing so give you some advance insight into updates so that help you keep pace with the their updates?

    • Hey Jim, I'd like to, yeah, and will be working towards it – there are a few things I need to take care of first though. I'm not aware of any plans by ET to give marketplace sellers advanced access to updates, but I hope that they will consider doing so.

  2. Love Divi booster! Thanks! However, 3.1.5 seems to have a bug. We are experiencing across our network of sites. Divi Booster is causing the secondary menu to disappear! When we roll back to 3.1.4 things the menu comes back.

Are you aware of this and do you have a fix?!

    • Hi tmanners. It's fixed in 3.1.6. Sorry about that.

  3. I have left messages on your website telling you there is I problem with the way Divi Booster works on our website but you never replied to my queries. I keep receiving automatic emails telling me my messages were received and had been added to the queue but never a reply or query from you.

I even sent replied to automatic emails to further explain what's going on when I activate Divi Booster. I also sent screenshots, more information, and a video showing exactly what's going on. I even created an account for you on our WordPress and sent you the login details site so you can log in and see for yourself the way it works.

However; there is no response from you at all.

Could you please let me know what do I need to do to get technical support.

    Thank you.

    • Hi John, I'm very sorry I haven't replied to you before now. I've just sent you an email response to your earlier messages. Thanks.

  4. Hey Dan,
Divi Booster is an invaluable plugin! With the latest revision, 2.9.6, however, I am unable to add a HTML a tag to the footer. Whenever I do, pressing the Save button won’t save but download an options.php file instead.
    Is this a known bug?

    • Hey Thomas,

Thanks for getting in touch and I'm glad the plugin has been useful to you.

I haven't had anyone else reporting this problem and it isn't happening on my own test sites, so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Is there any chance I'd be able to login to the site and take a look to see if I can spot the issue? Also, if you're able to send me an example of the HTML you're trying to use, that would be useful too.

      Thanks again,

  5. Hello, I use Divi Booster and am happy with… but… 😉 Since some times, the slide doesn't work anymore. It shows only the first picture and stuck at it or show a white picture for the second, and stop. The last Update didn't change it. The slide is again stacked at the first and the second is not shown. Can you please help me?

    • Hi Daniel, sorry you've been having this issue. It was down to a change Divi made in how the slider works, for which I just recently released a fix in Divi Booster 2.9.3. I can see in the site linked in your comment that the fix has been applied and the slider looks to me to be working correctly. If you're still seeing the problem, can I suggest clearing your browser cache, in case your browser is still storing an old version of the page. If that doesn't help, are you able to confirm for me the URL of the page with the slide, in case I'm looking in the wrong place? Thanks!

  6. Hi Dan,

Quick question – is Divibooster still compatible with the lates version on Divi (3.x)

Thanks in advance for your reply

    • Hi Charles, yes it is. I'm still actively developing the plugin and always test against the latest version of Divi / try to handle to any changes Elegant Themes make as quickly as I can. I hope that answers your question. Thanks!

      • Thanks Dan,

        Appreciate your quick reply

        • You're very welcome 🙂

  7. I ordered the divi booster plugin through elegant marketplace, but I cannot download the plugin nor did I receive a licence code

    • Hi Jan, Divi Booster isn't sold through Elegant Marketplace directly – they are part of my affiliate program and presumably you were redirected to my site where you would have been able to make the purchase. However, I don't see any purchases made with the email address you've used in this comment and looking at recent payments I couldn't spot anything that looked like it was from you.

Are you able to send me some details of your purchase (through the contact form would be best), such as the payment method, date, name and email address used? If you have a transaction ID or receipt (e.g. from PayPal), please send that too. That should help me track down your purchase and get you access to the download. Thanks!

  8. Hi Dan, thanks for the great plugin.

I added Yelp to my social media icons with the help of your plugin, but I am a little confused on how to integrate it. It's not showing up in any of my modules. Am I missing something? Please help!

    • Hi Joe, the option to add new social media icons such as Yelp is for adding new icons to the top header and/or footer, alongside (or in place of) Divi's existing top header / footer social icons.

There is a separate feature for adding icons for use in modules, which should do what you need. You'll find it in the Divi Booster settings under "Site-wide Settings > Icons > Add custom icons for use in modules". You can upload icons here (such as a Yelp icon) and they'll show up in the icon selection options of modules which support icons.

  9. Hello – my Divi theme is knocking the page name off my LearnPress Pages because the site menu covers over it.

Also all the advantages of a divi theme are lost using Learnpress as I can’t use one of their nice themes as the rest of my site uses the Divi theme.

Help! Does your plugin solve my problems?

    • Hi Suzy, my plugin doesn't currently have anything that will help with either of these issues. If you're able to send me a link to an example of one of your LearnPress Pages showing the page name problem, I'll be happy to take a look and see if I can figure out how to solve it.

WordPress only supports a single theme per site, but perhaps a plugin like Multiple Sites might do what you need? The other main alternative is to set up LearnPress on a separate WordPress installation, but it means you'd need to run separate checkout, have separate user logins, etc, from the main site – there wouldn't be any real integration between the two.

  10. Dan, oops — the problem went away. I deactivated the plugin and then reactivated it and now there's no problem…!

    • Hi Judi, I'm glad the problem resolved quickly. If you have any more trouble with it, please let me know. Thanks!

  11. Dan, I just had to deactivate the Divi Booster because it is causing my website to crash with a 500 HTTP Error. I have Version 2.9.0 and WordPress version 5.2.1
Do you have a fix? Thank you!

    • Hi Judi, I'm glad the problem resolved quickly. If you have any more trouble with it, please let me know. Thanks!

  12. Hi Dan – Lovin' Divi Booster so far but wondering if there's a way to add additional social media channels? Specifically: Ko-Fi, Tee Fury, Threadless and Society6.
