In particular, I'd try using the "Check for Updates" link next to Divi Booster on the plugins page. If that doesn't help, can I suggest a manual update this time round. There has been the occasional bug fix in the updater code along the way and hopefully getting onto the latest version will get updates working from here on in. I've had a quick play around with the idea of playing videos on hover. I'm not sure how you are adding your videos or what type of video you're using, but I came up with this for YouTube clips added via the video module:

It works as long as you don't mind the video being muted (necessary due to the Autoplay policy). To use it, simply paste the given code into the "Divi > Theme Options > Integration > Add code to the head of your blog" box. Let me know if it doesn't do what you need. Thanks!

I just bought Divi Booster but the installation failed:
"The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet."
Can I manually install Divi Booster by copying the decompressed divi-booster folder over to wp-content/themes ?
I have a different divi-child theme I was dong some minor experiments with – do I need to delete it?
Thoughts??? Really looking forward to trying it out…
Hi Lucy, Divi Booster is a plugin, not a (child) theme. It needs to be uploaded via the plugin uploader (WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New). The error you're seeing occurs when you attempt to upload Divi Booster using the theme uploader instead.
If you need to you can manually copy the files across, but to wp-contents/plugins
There is no need to remove your child theme, Divi Booster should run alongside it.

When Divi Booster enables Title and Tagline, does it also allow for adjusting text font, color, size etc?
Hi Lucy, currently they use the header styles set in the "General Settings > Typography" section of the customizer. These can be overridden in CSS using the IDs "#logo-text" and "logo-tagline". I hope to be able to add style options specific to the title and tagline in the future. If you need any help styling them in the meantime, please let me know. Thanks!

Just had to disable your Divi Booster plugin on my site. The site was breaking with it enabled after the most recent update. It appeared that stylesheets weren't being loaded.

Are you able to let me know what exactly you were seeing with Divi Booster enabled? Did you get any error messages and what did they say? The main reason I bought the divi booster was that my customer can easy customize "a text to top header (on left-hand side)".
I installed the plugin and set a text in this field, but it's not working.

Hi Michael, the reason it isn't currently showing is that the top header isn't currently active on your site. The top header (which, in a default Divi installation, is the thin blue bar with the email / phone number above the main header) is only displayed by Divi when there is some element defined for it (such as the email, phone number, secondary menu, or woocommerce cart). The current version of Divi Booster doesn't create the top header if it is not active. As a result the Divi Booster top header text also isn't showing.
I'm sure you'll agree that this is a bit confusing, so I've updated the feature for the next version of Divi Booster (2.8.9). It'll now create the top header if it is missing. That should get both the top header and the top header text showing on your site. If this isn't what you want for any reason, disabling that feature will hide the top header again.
I'll hopefully get that update out early next week, but if you need things going sooner, please let me know. A workaround, if you need it, is to create a menu in Appearance > Menus and add a custom link. Give the link a label such as "test" when adding it and then once added, replace that label with a single space character. (This step bypasses WP's initial check that the label isn't empty, and lets us create a blank link in the menu). Save the menu and assign it to the "secondary menu" location. That should activate the top header, with an essentially invisible link.

Hi Annemarie, I just checked in Google Chrome and the social media links are opening in a new tab for me. It also looks like the code is being applied correctly. If you're still having problems, can you try clearing your browser history? It's possible that an old version of the page is being stored from before the new tab setting was applied. If that doesn't help, can you let me know which browser / OS you're using? Thanks!
Hi Dan, thanks for this great plugin. I'm using the second button on the slider module and it doesn't seem to have dynamic content capability like the first button does… Is there an update coming that might change this?
