Divi Booster is a great product and we’ve never really needed support for it but, on the one occasion we needed advice, Dan was super helpful.
This plugin does exactly what I needed it to do. I do not have any developer skills, but support was excellent and resolved all of the questions I had quickly.
Divi Booster is fantastic. I used this plugin to improve the header area and footer area on a client's website. My client is very pleased.
Hi Dan. I emailed you many times with no response. I bought this plugin many years ago and cannot find my license key anywhere! Please get back to me ASAP with my license key! I recommended this plugin to many friends and have purchases other plugins of yours too. Please me out here!
Hi Daniel, sorry I'm just getting to this (my wife recently gave birth and as a result I have fallen a bit behind on email). I've just sent a reply to those emails regarding this. Thanks!
The main reason I bought the divi booster was that my customer can easy customize "a text to top header (on left-hand side)".
I installed the plugin and set a text in this field, but it's not working.
Any ideas?
Hi Michael, thanks for getting in touch. Is there any chance you're able to send me a link to the site you're working on so that I can take a look at what's stopping the text from being displayed? Thanks!
Hi Dan,
In the Divi Builder Map module, the "Show Details by Default:" (Choose whether marker pin details should be displayed right away or not. Added by Divi Booster) does not work.
Please see link here: http://aranyoldalak.maharishi.hu/ring-fogado-megyesi-agnes/
I use the Fastest Cache plugin – emptied the cache several times, but nothing has changed.
Could you please advise me how solve this issue?
Thanks,
Attila
Hi Attila, do you currently have anything in the "Content" box of the map pin? Divi will only show a popup box on the marker when there is content there. Looking at the source code for your module, it looks to me like you only have a title set for the pin, but not content, is that right? In that case I don't think you'll get any popup box when you click on the marker (with the Divi Booster feature disabled), so enabling the Divi Booster feature has nothing to show. Hopefully that makes sense. Try adding something into the "Content" box and see if that gets it working. If not, let me know. Cheers!
Hi there… despite having added a widget area to the header and adding the wpml language switcher there – it is not appearing – any clues as to why this might be? It worked perfectly on another site and I cannot figure out what I've done differently – you can see the site here: yoga[dot]create[dot]zone
Thanks
Ooops- already figured it out… will post here for others with a similar issue – rather than adding the widget within WPML I added the widget within the widgets menu under Appearance – then styled it using the link there to the options – this worked a treat.
Can I use this settings in Visual Builder mode?
Hi zakki, the main Divi Booster settings will apply to both Standard and Visual Builder. The module options Divi Booster adds can be set in Visual Builder mode, but in some cases won't show up until you actually view the page. I'm hope to update it in the future so that these module option changes will be immediately visible while still in the Visual Builder edit mode. Thanks!
Hi Dan. I'm still having problems with LearnDash and Divi Booster. Once the visual builder is activated on the LearnDash page, it shifts the Course Conttent table to the left of the screen and also affects text settings.
If you could get back to me, I would share a screenshot.
Thanks.
Hi Vad, sorry to hear you've been having these problems. I've just sent you an email, and if you don't mind replying to it with that screenshot I'll see if I can figure out what's going on. Cheers!
Hi Dan,
Just purchased Divi Booster. Is there a video on how to use Divi Booster? My setup screen does not show the same layout as on your screenshots. I do not see how to setup page builder for a post.
Thanks,
Eugene
Hi Eugene, sorry the screenshots were a bit old – I've just replaced them with up-to-date ones. The settings screen has a slightly different layout now as I've added / moved things since then, but it fundamentally works the same way. You can ignore the page builder for post feature, as it is no longer needed. Divi itself now supports using the Divi Builder on posts (Divi Booster adds a way to add it on custom post types, though). I don't have a video to share with you, but hopefully the updated screenshots give you a better idea of how to use it. If anything is unclear, please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Dan,
Just to let you know that the last update crashed our site – it changed the htaccess file and stripped the default wordpress part out of it.
It was the only update we did today and it affected the site almost immediately. Once htaccess was corrected – all was fine again. The divibooster part in the htaccess file is to do with the map pin image.
Gary
Hi Dan – this has happened again to another one of our sites – just updated DiviBooster to 2.7.0 and it stripped out the htaccess file – taking out all the default wordpress code
Hi Gary, sorry you're having this issue. I haven't had anyone else report a similar issue, and haven't changed the code for updating the htaccess in any recent updates. Reviewing the code now, the only way I can imagine this happening is if Divi Booster was able to write to the htaccess file, but reading from it was failing for some reason. This would be pretty rare, but isn't inconceivable. I've just released an update (2.7.1) which adds additional error checking to handle this case. Any chance you could try it out and see if you're still getting the same issue? Divi Booster will update the htaccess file when its settings are saved, so if you save the settings I think that should trigger the problem if it is going to happen. Thanks.
Hi Can this be used to adjust header navigation so that logo and secondary navigation phone number are on the same parallel rather than at the moment whereby they are on two levels?
Thanks Mark
Hi Mark, there isn't yet a feature for this in Divi Booster, however this post describes one way to do it:
https://divibooster.com/add-a-phone-number-to-divis-main-menu/
I hope that helps.
Hi Dan. Divi booster is a must for my site. Not sure how, but it no longer shows up in my installed plugins. The folder still exists in the /wp-content/plugins directory. I deleted it and re-installed. The plugin says it installed correctly, but it still doesn't show up in my installed plugins. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi Gary, are you using Divi Ghoster by any chance? It has a feature called "Ultimate Ghoster" which hides Divi plugins such as Divi Booster. If so, disabling that feature within the Divi Ghoster settings should get Divi Booster showing up again.
If not, any chance you're able to send me login details via the contact form so that I can take a look at what's going on? Thanks!
Hi Dan,
You were right. Divi Ghoster was installed but was not showing up and I forgot it was installed. All is good. Thanks for your help!
Hey Dan –
Your plugin is the first I install on all my builds – but a question for you.
Can you help figure out why I'm getting multiple icons when I use the custom blurb icon in gallery type configuration?
Hi Jenny, looks like it was a bug in my handling of the icons in gallery overlays.
I've come up with a fix which will be included in the next version (2.6.8), which I'll hopefully have out soon.
In the meantime, you should be able to fix it by adding the following CSS to your site:
You can add it into the "Divi > Theme Options > General > Custom CSS" box. I hope that helps!
Hi Dan. I love the Divi booster plugin!! Tonight I'm using it and the section for "Main Header" is greyed out… I can't select any of the elements in that section ( i want to change the menu hover colour). I'm sure it's something I've done!! Any advice?
Hi Annie, the WordPress 4.9 update made some changes which was causing this problem. I've already released a fix for it, so if you update to the latest version of Divi Booster the problem should go away. Thanks!
Thanks Dan!
