Disable Divi Post Slider Module "Slide In" Effect

Written by Dan Mossop

When you load a page using the Divi post slider module, it animates the title, description, and button for the first post by having them slide in and fade up simultaneously. While this effect can be visually appealing, some users may prefer a static appearance without these animations.

If you want to disable the "slide in" effect on the Divi post slider module, you can do so by adding a simple CSS snippet.

How to Disable the Post Slider "Slide In" Effect using CSS

To stop the animation and achieve a static appearance, follow these steps:

1) Navigate to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

2) Go to Divi > Theme Options > General > Custom CSS.

3) In the Custom CSS box, paste the following code:

.et_pb_post_slider .et_pb_slide_description {
       -webkit-animation-duration: 0s !important;
       animation-duration: 0s !important;
}

The code disables the animation by setting its duration to 0 seconds. Using !important ensures that this rule overrides any other CSS rules that might conflict.

This customization ensures that the Divi post slider module's title, description, and button do not animate or slide in when the page loads, providing a static and immediate presentation of content.
